i have stopped replying to your posts for i thought it will cool down your inciteful comments towards Islam.

but judging from the pattern of your posts, it is no coincidence that they have all been degrading towards Muslim and Islam. One after another, it seems strange that it is all the same.

are you trying to stir racial and religious sentiments in this forum?

This is a forum and healthy discussion on religion is okay. Guess some Malay/Muslim forumners are too sensitive already.

IMO, the wife and other children will most likely (99.9%) lose this case if this case goes to court.

Civil court will push to Sharia Court and Sharia Court always rule in favour of Muslims.

honestly, i think its fair. naturally, if you are a muslim, you would be bias towards the goodness of islam.

however, the world has seen a fair share of ugliness and hence, many people would have a biasness against your islam.

this is, afterall a forum... discussion would definitely come into play, whether you agree with the direction of the discussion or not is a different story.

you may believe in righteousness of your religion, but 'islamic courts of law' around the world has shown unacceptable policies towards conventional norms.

also, it is hard to define if such religious courts of law truly adhere to proper teachings of your quran.

According to my knowledge, the eldest son converted to Muslim when he was in secondary school while the rest of the family (parents and his six siblings) remain as non-Muslim.

When the father died, the eldest son suddenly proclaimed the father had converted to Muslim before he died. However, the family claimed that the father did not follow the Islamic rules and still enjoying eating pork up to his death.

I wonder if the family is rich/well to do? Or the father has some inheritance left for the family or something? Cos if I am not wrong, under Islamic law, " A decreased Muslim's asset is not allowed to pass to non-Muslims."

Sometimes I wonder, why some of the Islamic laws are so discrimintive towards non-Muslims?

i agree with faroukalhadad....
my take is this are circumstantial and isolated cases. it is not as if there is a crisis becos there are multiple cases and it is becoming untenable. non-muslims can still go about their lives practicing the religion of their choice.

for all u know, there cld be similar cases in sgp tt's not covered by the media, by choice. regardless, there is no need to discuss this in the forum. it makes no sense, has little merit in the discussion in these forums.

i don think it is a good idea to lock this thread .. becos many ppl are really unhappy about what Malaysia has done... this thread allows free speech to allow these ppl to release their frustration .. if not.. it will still be in their mind and heart ..

who r the ppl? sinkaporean or malaysian? if it is the latter, let them resolve it. in arab ctries, worse perceived religious discrimination are practiced. n it is more expansive.

as mentioned, what happened in msia is an isolated case, and we do not have the FULL facts to comment what's right. it this is broad base, maybe there is a need to voice our views here.

i think this is still a storm in a teacup.

there's no critic of any religion here. since many of us are not from the same religion, most of us seek understanding.

again, this is a healthy forum and there is no critic that Muslim or Islam is bad religion or anything. Is that a problem for non-muslim to ask something that they dun understand ., the same goes to Muslim to ask why Chinese pray to what they called our God in temple a "doll or statue" ?

Honestly, from my experience in Malaysia, its always Malays to ask something bout our religion or God. Normal questions would be why are we praying to statue? Logically thinking we indeed praying to statue but religionly there is God inside it.

Yea, i had some muslims who asked me that question, i can either ask them back why are they praying to wall or i explain that the GOd is inside the statue.. its always depend on how u want to start flaming or anything.

Guys, chill out, no one is telling this religion is this or that.. Locking this thread doesnt seem right at all.

this entire discussion is going nowhere. we know little of what happen nor the background. continuing this will degenerate into a religious or racial incitement.

i think the TS is not asking an innocent question. he is trying to undermine malaysia and what's happening there. let's `sling mud at ourselves', i.e. singapore. even if we wanted to take a dig at malaysia, make sure we know what we are talking about.
