but, i still wanna state one point. i dare to drive more than 200km/h in a car, but i'm too scared to drive at 60km/h in a kart Embarassed

there's also another point, different ppl like different cars for different reasons. nobody is really wrong, just a personal preference. politically correct enuff? Mr. Green

And I agree with you. 200kmh is quite easy; although on Malaysian trunk roads, I've never been able to go above 180 for long. The road either bends too much, or there's traffic ahead.

Personally, I don't think 60kmh in a Kart is scary.

Down the main straight at the Permas track, in a 100cc kart, it does take quite a bit of guts not to lift the accelerator when negotiating the downhill lefthander at the end of it. I've had a lot of fishtails and a couple of spin outs there, but it sure is FUN! Very Happy

personally i dun think a kart is scary at all, period. not 60, not 100, not 140. maybe sometimes i skip a couple of hearbeats under heavy braking, but its all fine, even when im slamming into e barriers at 100. when that happens, it happens too fast to be scared. nary a split second for an "oh Shit" b4 impact. but er, i'd rather not go thru that again.

brian, heard of him.. never met him. get a 2nd hand elise for fun on the tracks, once you need more power, get an old supercar. Evo and skyline quite ex. in london.. unless it's the older versions. Very Happy that's just my personal opinion, cos i'd def. get a car i'll never be able to drive here.

brian, good bloke, he is. stopped karting after breaking his leg once in a kart race, which is y he drives cars now, reckon they're safer, im sure u remember the time he demolished a bus stop with no ill effect?
anyway doesn't quite allows his kid to race, even tho his kid's been at karts for much longer than i have. his son's a good bloke too, and a fellow driver. he's worried about his son having a crashlike he did.
