Maybe the car is heavy, abt 1600kg. I think it's heavier than the previous model. Maybe that's why the consumption is a bit higher than the previous model.

how much is the interest??? me thinking of getting the new altis but come to think bout monthly instalment, fuel, parking will add up to around 1k..... then now consider 2nd hand car, may b those left 3 to 5 years one but i guess u can only loan up to the period of the balance of the car, so monthly almost the same.. any advise??? do u drive around alot or just morning go work at nite come home.... ???

For 10-yr loan, the interest is 2.45%. For 7-yr loan, the interest is 2.3%.
Get the new Altis lor coz BM provide 3-yr warranty. As for old car, u need to come out with cash if it breaks down.

do the parallel importers need the buyer to produce his payslip to qualify for a loan? if so, how much the monthly income should be if one is to qualify for a loan?

Dunno. I think it depends on which bank you loan from. For HSBC, they require your payslip if u take up 90% loan of the car price.

Just got my Altis about a month ago. some happiness and some unhapiness. The car is quiet and a pleasure to drive, but the build quality makes me a not too happy customer, this is made worse by my sales agent's poor service. Hope the rest of you do not have the same expereince I have. Sad

Confused Hi Car dreamer,

My front wind screen seems to have a delamination problem of the black lining at the edge, will be sending my car to the work shop soon. The car is bearly one month old Sad .
The door panel also found to have glue residue when I got my car.
Besides these, the car is ok, at least for now. hope no more problem.

Confused I picked up my car at turf city, the sales person told me that the service centre cannot cope with the volume. That's why they rent a place at turf city.
