the Bare SG Shinzo Abe, Japan's Prime Minister "No, world leaders like me will NOT resign to join some silly little company in the private sector, just because we earn less than the average new, inexperienced PAP minister in Singapore."
happieman SG But PAP is sayng they deserved it !! you think so ? Where does their salary come from ? the tax ? The tax from ppl, tax from companies.. tax from taxi companies ? If this is true .. then it means cab hike = profit increase in cab companies = salary increase for PAP ministers ??? anyone can clear my doubts?
CX SG No... Its more like: personal income tax + corporate income tax + gst + fees, fines and other revenue (i.e. land sales) + dividends paid by GIC and Temasek = budget their salary and everything all falls under the budget and surplus are accumulated back into the reserves while deficits will have to financed somehow (i.e. through debt)
