So you are saying that in the 28 months in NS, your total allowance
is
($400 x 24) + $10,000 = $21,200
Suppose if you are a recruit in 2002, your monthly allowance will
be $240 per month x 3 months (supposed if you are fit enough) =
$720.
Which almost mean that during your 21 months serving the rest of
your NS, your total allowance is $20,450 or $973.00 per month.
Can you tell me what was your rank and unit when you are doing your
NS?
As for expenditure, you only take into consideration 3.5 years,
what about those days where you are making "big bucks" during your
JC years giving tuition. Plus are you sure that you have done a
solid 40 months of tuition without rest for your own exams?
