how many times have i said it is BS..

it doesn't help!!!

get a grip!!

forget about that for a while.. stop crying over spilt milk and get the effing mop...

now.. how the hell are we going to do anything?

as for forking out more, go read up on taxes around the world.. and go calculate how much it costs to help people..

if you are bellyaching over the additional 2% GST, i guess you're not willing to pay the price of helping the poor..

zenden9 SG

Let me tell u all the truth, Bear is no different gfrom that dog Gazelles! Mad

LazerLordz SG

So what's wrong with those taxes? I have no beef with them. Rolling Eyes

LazerLordz SG

Gazelle is a different species altogether. Rolling Eyes

the Bear SG

get back to the question.. stop with the personal attacks.

what solution can you give?

at all?

i don't have the solution.. and i'm asking..

better than blaming everyone..

btw, i have never and will never ever vote for the MIW...

and with a useless bum standing against the MIW, i SPOILT the vote, writing on it "i exercise my right to spoil my vote because both candidates do not deserve it"

now... BACK TO THE PROBLEM!!

how do you think the problem can be solve??

STICK TO THE PROBLEM!!

zenden9 SG

So yr answer is our personal tax increases but no help and action is taken? Good! Well done Sg gov. Its not abt free market or what. Is abt a group of tyrant abusing free market and trying to work the peasants to death for their benenfit!

the Bear SG

are you willing to pay up to 30% income tax? have a VAT of around 15%?

seriously...

that's the price a lot of countries pay...

zenden9 SG

I already answer yrs and u give me nothing! U just trying to help the group of tyrant hiding the truth from mass by trying to divert the question..

^tamago^ SG

If 2% does not help then the only end result of the recent tax changes is the rich gets a tax relief and ends up with more, and the poor still has to pay more to get by.

the Bear SG

never mind..

you're clueless too.. and disruptive clueless...

go back and think about how to solve the problem...

zenden9 SG

Bear,u just concentrate on the high percentages income tax to scare everybody.. why not talk abt the benefit and safety provided with such high income taxes?

^tamago^ SG

If taxes were heavy but channelled to the right sources, at least there goes the income gap.

LazerLordz SG

If it means a safety net in my golden years should my finances go awry, I'm all for it.

Bear in mind that this level of taxation is commensurate with the PPP, GDP and purchasing power of that economy as well.

It is not a case of plucking that 30% income tax and 15%VAT and transplanting them in situ into the Singaporean economic context.

the Bear SG

yeah.. it happens..

and instead of bellyaching, what can we do about it instead of lament our 'cruel fate' and then blame the MIW?

what is practical and what can be done?

back to that question huh?

WHAT CAN WE DO?

LazerLordz SG

Problem is that we're relying on a regressive tax to solve the gap, and so much PR spin has been put into that to lull people into believing that it'll work.

I see more people picking trash cans, and I find that I'm enjoying more free money. So it's not going right at all.

zenden9 SG

By creating unncessary reply with no meaning, I know yr pattern long time ago! Going a big round trying to call everybody a whiner...

the Bear SG

then where the hell will the money come from?

magic?

btw.. the reserves, if there are no taxes will be depleted so quickly Laughing

back to the question.. think..

because apart from the higher taxes, and a proper way of spending them, i have no other solutions...

you come up with one.. please...

^tamago^ SG

u seem to suggest nothing can be done. Rolling Eyes Crying or Very sad

zenden9 SG

See! Bear typical tatics! Is like gov going around asking its citizen, what can I do to help u? Laughing

LazerLordz SG

Oei, don't go OT can? Neutral
