You think they are here for singapore sale?
How do you know if the
'Great Singapore Sale' is
not on their agenda - at least as a side trip from official duties
?
During one of his earlier visits to Singapore, PM Wen Jia Pau made
a small shopping trip - do you think he was contributing to
Singapore's commercial well being, or was he finding out for
himself the weak pulse of Singapore's commercial scene ?
Every trip made by the Chinese officials has a few items on their
agenda that they hope will help China to learn from mistakes made in
Singapore.
They do not pretend to be First World Leaders of a powerful nation
with advise to give - despite their 1000 years of history - but
instead will humbly observe, listen and aborb everything and
anything, all the goodness and the ugliness.
Do you think Singapore has nothing to learn from China ?
One certain lesson from modern China History is that dynastic rule
cannot succeed for big or small nations - surely, the First Family
will be humble enough to absorb this for the sake of Singapore
?
