LTA guideline is that fron windscreen and front 2 windows must
have 70% visibility, means 70% of visible light must be able to
pass through.
rear windscreen and rear 2 windows must have 50% visibility, means
can be darker.
mirror type of window tinting also cannot, must the the traditional
ones.
Go malaysia, it's very cheap, did mine last year for less than
RM300 i think, also depend on how big your car is, mine's a colt,
so use less material i think, i bargained with the guy.
can go to taman sentosa that side, got quite a few shops doing,
usually the banner will write the price, somemore got 5yr
guarantee.
**Remember to tell them that it has to be approved by LTA, the
people there know about it some of them even have previous certs of
vehicles that passed the inspection to show you.
***Don't do inspection at VICOM, they are VERY strict, go to the
other inspection centres, they are more lenient.
