So I guess if China does something wrong, she will be heavily criticised and taken advantage upon?

Take the recent news for example. Mattell admitted that it was their fault for designing crap toys (so many). But were they heavily criticised and where are the media mentioning that their designers are not qualified, no quality checks etc? But if Mattell were a China owned company, it will be another China Bashing media and criticism.

I just feel that it is one sided...

Personally, I find nothing wrong with it, save for the mistakes made by the Bush Administration.

We have always been closer to America in our strategic thought, not to mention BoP politics.

But spread pro-USA propaganda and distort facts, I don't think that is correct.

A lot of people blindly follow the opinions in the Singapore mainstream media and develop false and distorted views about USA and its policies.

I don't like that.

Still, we shouldn't claim that all American opinions are false.

Although I would love it if CNA stop showing FOX News everytime there's an American election, be it Congressional, Senate or Presidential.

there are plenty of negative news about USA just go to internet....plenty u don;t need SG news to report.

It's not just about China being picked on...

I mean it's the same in Singapore; if you were convicted of a crime, you will always be looked at suspiciously FOREVER...

once a criminal, always a criminal mentality....

Besides, China was given lots of chances... they fail themselves time after time.. MONEY/PROFITS are more important to them, everything else can go to hell for all they care...

This is their problem... a mentality problem...

Every country have their bad moments. Japan and Germany WW2, US - Slavery and racial war, England - Colonalisation and bringing diseases, etc

So why pick on China, instead of working together to find ways?
