How does CNA forum compare to this forum?

last SG · 2007-11-13T00:11:10+00:00

CNA's forum is a joke in my opinion... ... they only allow nice things to be said about the government, & will censor out negative comments, views, &am...

As above, please feel free to share your views and thoughts.

What differentiates the 2?

altho many stuff posted here may never be allowed to be posted there, the strange thing I notice is that they allow sexually-related threads to be created and most of the time, no one really replies to these. There are quite many of these posted there and allowed to exist.

Do you guys get what I am trying to say?

de_middle SG

ok noted

4getmenot SG

what are you trying to say?? Embarassed

patgoh SG

CNA is heavily guarded, it uses scissors.

This forum uses lock.

YPAP forum has no scissors or lock. Laughing (But it can be very dangerous. Nobody knows when or whether there is a big net to scoup up some and put them into the hot soup)

reddressman SG

take a look. I not sure what the admin there is trying to prove or not prove by allowing sexually-suggestive topics to be posted where in most cases no one really bothers to reply. So many, just see for yourselves. In case gazellians feedback to them to delete all these such that you think I bluffing, better you have a look asap at their forums now before they get swept away so-to-speak.

I dont read all the postings there. But I think their priority is to avoid defamatory postings and postings which may affect racial, religious harmony etc.

Being a forum runs by a News TV, they are easy target and favourity target of law suit. If any forumer posting defamatory posting there, they are likely to be implicated if the one defamed takes action against the poster.

I believe the world will judge for themselves what CNA forum is all about.

The internet can be accessed virtually from any point in the world.

I have passed sg's forums sites to my foreign penpals already.

They will know what sg forums are all about.

If its good, they will know its good.
If its silencer, they will know too.

Many intelligent People exist in this world .
Even more people with commonsense knows how to tell what is rotten apple and what is good apple.

People have eyes. They will know what it is all about.

I only have this one little doubt. Does those who decided to drop their motherland cert know what they are getting into?

I really no no. So I ask.

They use PHP format. Good stuff. Mr. Green

If CNA does not try to advertise itself all over Asia as the most popular website (rubbing salt into wound) their resort to deleting posts and banning forumers for fair and honest opinions even for a leading Asia's media at least would have been more bearable.

How does it have the nerve to make the claim as Asia's leading media when it is so outright intolerable of freedoms of expressions, I wonder.

kramnave SG

they ban you ah ? for what ah ? what kind of posts they disallow ?

robertteh SG

Yes I was banned after posting some criticisms of government's policies in CNA. No big deal as I could post in my own blog, findsingapore.net or sgforums.
