About the lowering of corporate taxes and increasing GST... I remembered someone commented that SG is being ran like some big company of sort, so it is logical that PAP lose from one source and gain from another...

I agree that the opposition should have the freedom to say what they want... but not to the extent one can talk without evidence... I believe Chee has learnt his lesson, I'm seeing better articles from SDP now, as compared to last time. If it was last time, I wouldn't care more.

just ask ourselves, even if u live serangoon and go into city using CTE. it is already more than 20minutues passing 3 or more gantry. is traffic any smoother? i live in jurong and travel to city for work. it take me average 45-1hr to reach my office using AYE via CTE. LKY, dont bullshit in India as they had alot themselves.

Many ppl say that the traffic conjestion in Singapore during the morning n evening time is becoz the left lane is reserved for the buses.I believe it is true,as drivers who attempt to use the bus lane during the peak hours will get fined by the traffic police.

To travel across singapore(40km) in 20mins less, the journey speed will have to be at constant 120km/h assuming no stopping, this is not even bluffing, its obviously impossible.

We are not at the true corners of Singapore, discounting all the minor roads that we originated from and terminate at, travelling on the expressway alone will take 7 mins + 5 mins + 23 mins = 35 minutes. (provided that the traffic is smooth flowing and there are no traffic congestions.)

Either the old man is trying to pull a fast one on the ang mohs, or he needs to step down before he really makes a fool of himself and Singapore.

I could be wrong, maybe the old man takes his Aston Martin, Ferrari and Lamborghini for a spin at break neck speeds.
