I could at least live better if the tyrants whose horrendous ventures are funded in part by me through taxation actually lost money to more intelligent people than those who take over Manchester City.

It's one thing losing money to someone capable of buying over Manchester United; another to lose money to someone having the limited capability of buying over Manchester City... Laughing

And The Guardian newspaper has reported that another British bank, thought to be Barclays, has received an emergency loan from the Bank of England.

Perhaps.

The ones in Temasek who strategise wrongly should pay for his/ her mistake. Even CEO of CITIGROUP is penalised, why can’t them? Expansion must be considered for all these social factors of the foreign countries feeling of a foreign investment.

kramnave SG

Its very hard to pin blame on short-term paper losses incurred in the life of long-term investments.
