One of the biggest problems with Singapore right now is opacity.
They have cloaked themselves with a veil of secrecy. They know
everything about the opposition and blow up any small infringements
done by them.
Because they have the power, they dishonorably hide themselves and
will be able to hide any shenanigans. Think of Durai and the
NKF.
People must force them to open up or they will continue to keep
hiding themselves in opacity.
They only way to force them to open up and let the people
scrutinize what they are doing is for the people to put their
support behind some opposition personalities.
If they manage to force good opposition candidates out, then vote
in the less capable ones.
People like Dr Chee, while you might not support the man, you have
to support the cause and in order to support the cause, you have to
support the man. Dr Chee is trying to open up the government for
all Singaporeans to take a look.
If nobody is looking, then one day we might wake up and face on the
front page : "All your CPF has been cheated away"
