honestly speaking, how long will it take for the world to
realise that sanctions and trade embargo does not work,especially
on developing country.
North Korea, despite the sanctions, they are still surviving, and
has even developed a nuke to irritate the west.
Iran, sanctions imposed since they overthrew the shah. they are
still around. furthermore, they are now the new power player in
middle east politics. created major troubles for USA in iraq.
Cuba, embargo imposed since 1962. after more than 45 years, fidel
castro is still in power, still beloved by his people.
trade embargoes dun affect developing countries, if they are not
high industrial exporting country. they dun depends of
manufacturing exports for growth. domestic agricultural based
economy will allow them to survive.
