SINGAPORE : NTUC Income is launching two Eldershield supplements
which will be available from the 15th of next month.
These two supplements are Eldershield Lifetime Care and Eldershield
Care.
Eldershield Lifetime Care offers policyholders the ability to
increase the Eldershield benefit to as much as S$3,000 per
month.
It will also extend the benefit payment for life, upon the
expiry of the basic Eldershield plan.
Another significant feature is the additional benefit in the form
of lump sum payouts over three years.
The other supplement, Eldershield Care, offers policyholders the
ability to increase their monthly payouts from the current S$400
per month, by up to a maximum of S$3,000 per month, but for a basic
term of six years.
Chief Executive of NTUC Income, Tan Suee Chieh, said the current
discussion on longevity insurance highlighted the importance of
making adequate and affordable provisions for needs in old age. -
