Good car polising - HiGlaze 88 VS
Maguaire
btw guys, wanna ask. DIY polishing and waxing. what's the
difference? First time washing car, think better ask around before
starting.. don wanna cause swirlmark by myself.
Have been reading reviews recently. (Btw, mine's a honda fit)
brand new car shouldnt do any polishing/waxing, original paintwork
can last for a few months, just normal water-washing will do.
But some say brand new should get a good coating of
waxing/polishing for good long term. Wanna hear more views on it.
Thanks!!!
For long term protection, you'll need a PPS as wax will wear
off. If you wish to maintain your ride, you have to be consistant
(immediately rub off bird stains, wash after driving through rain,
etc etc) and park under shelter. Waxing regularly will also help to
maintain paintwork - but it's not cheap if you do outside, and if
you do it yourself, without a buffing machine, you'll be sweating
buckets.
And I think you are referring to Meguiars products, yes they
seem to be quite good. A few professional groomers also using their
products.
