LKY claimed that Singapore is experiencing golden period. Golden period for the Lees or golden period for Singapore? LHL is holding prime minister and finiancial minister which resembling that power and wealth of the nation is in the same person hand. Is that telling us that no one can be trusted enough to hold any one of it, or there is not enough talents in cabinet to do the job? Anyone one has noticed are there other politician that through Singapore's history was holding power and the wealth of the nation beside LHL?

The Lees power has reached until today that it seems like no one can stop what ridiculous policies they want to pass down to people. Like raise GST to help the poor, increase ministers pay which was already adsurdly high, the creation of minister mentor position for the highest paid prime minister, 4 to 6.5m population at the unpleasantness of singaporeans and etc.

It appears that the Lees are indeed experiencing golden period not Singapore. Isn't it?

The other joke are all those claims of how much money Temasek makes. If they are really that smart and confident of making money, why don't they take the CPF money and invest it? No need to pay the 27% they claim to make, just pay 10%. You think when they are put to this kind of test, they can deliver? Only idiotic Singaporeans will believe what dictators that eschew transparency and separation of powers say.

Many Singaporeans are like what you said above. They are very fearful to offend their "toxic bosses". I was being told off many times by friends, family members and relatives to stop talking about the gahmen. Personally, I cannot stand this irrational fear and timidity of theirs. I told them that the people of Singapore is their boss and they should thank us for allowing them to rule Singapore and not the other way round.

In general, Singaporeans are extremely inner looking, they only care that their needs are taken care of and whatever the gahmen is doing is secondary. They will behave in the way not to offend the gahmen, their boss. I look down on such mentality.
