Xtrider SG 1) What is the gov doing to help those who have low CPF and no CPF at all? I mean when they grow old they do not have monetary support to count on...if their kids dun support them then how? 2) What is the role of MM? If his role is to guide, then isn't that what the SM is doing? IMO, i think he should take a backseat and not meddle with the gov anymore (like mahathir although he abit kao bei) His continued involvement make the current gov seem dependent on him and it would give the impression that the sg gov cant make it without him..its kinda like a psychological thing.. (plus his salary is kinda expensive..we could better spend that money on grooming the younger generation) juz my 2.14cents worth of view
<Precious> SG I'm sure all will be revealed in good time. For now, we'll just have to exercise our patience to wait & see wat the govt plans to do. MM's role is to guide the present cabinet as his title suggests - mentor mah..... The present govt has 5 years to unveil its plans and see them to their fruition or the next election will see a paradigm shift in voting trend!
kramnave SG should increase tax on citizens and companies that die die must do business in Singapore as our market is so huge. The tax will pay benefits for the jobless, the CPFless and pension for the lower income group.
ispyyy SG Help yrself lah... Saving and planning for yr retirement also need the government to think and plan for u... Really spoon feed sia... omg Government introduce force savings... u bui gum... Government dont introduce force savings... u old... how??? Government increase tax to feed the old... u kao bei... lol... There are somethings in life we really need to be independent lah... Government will take care the majority the most... If u r belong to minority, then pls be adult lah... Think and plan for yr future... There is no such thing as it is one's responsibility to take care of another...
Xtrider SG im not even the work force yet im juz wondering if this group of ppl are being left out tts all...anyways fyi cpf is our version of pension wat juz tt we work for it...wat is the point if not everyone has it? there are ppl out there without or with low cpf u noe...
royston_ang SG If MM's role is to guide the present cabinet, then what's SM? Anyway, if there's any plan which are popular with the people, I am sure it will come as "goodies" just before the next election. So in the meantime, just bear with the unpopular ones.
