qooorange SG If you are staying in the central and north areas, better commute to work by public transport cos CTE is always jam. Hopefully things will improve when KPE is up and running.
maurizio13 SG Wah!!! Expressway jam again??? (1) Must suggest to government to raise ERP charges by another 100% to prevent traffic congestion. If jam somemore after raising charges, then increase charges by another 100%. Hehehe........ 2) Then if alternative routes are jam because all traffic flow there, then increase the charges for alternative routes. Repeat (1) End.
eagle SG write pseudo C code lor while(1) { if (jamAtRoute1 == true) IncreaseERProute1(); if (jamAtRoute2 == true) IncreaseERProute2(); }
tanjun SG China has once implemented and enforced a law that odd numbered and even numbered plates to be driven on per day basis. That means that on days when odd numbered plates cars are driven, it is illegal to drive a even numbered plates cars on the road. Based on the newspapers, this law has reduced the traffic dramatically. Maybe Singapore will like to try that.
