Wish to check with you ppl,
1. regarding the company registration, did you use ur own
company or u use someone else company
2. Anyone use the HDB as company, if yes, how to apply
3. If use HDB can we buy the van?
4. Is there a minimum age for the company?
5. Can we apply 2 vehicles using a same company?
6. Howz the performance of the van?
7. Howz the after sale service, good?
8. What modification have you done?
9. What freebies you asked when u purchase the "car"? Is it
too much to ask sport rim, reverse sensor, fog light,
electronic mirror control on both side( they only have left
side electronic), central lock, alarm? Mr. Green
10. Is it illegal to have sport rim for the van?
11. There is a speed limit, you guys got actually cheong and
drive like a pro?
12. Can we carry people behind? if yes how many?

1) Regarding company buying van, pls refer to another post by ibook. I have replied what I know there.

2 & 3) Don't think so.

4) Think so. Should be 21 I guess.........

5) If your company can make BIG money, you can own up to 100 vans if you want.

6) Sat in my friend's new partner once, feel good I must admit, but not too sure in long run.

7) Don't know.

Cool Actually, we are not suppose to mod van or car. heh...... But if you want, definitely can, just don't get caught.

9) My friend ask the sales to spray the bumper to the color of the van for free.

10) Yes its not legal, as the belief is normal alloy sports rim will not be able to take the weight of the van if it carries goods.

11) Sure can cheong.

12) Not too sure how many pple you can carry but from what I know, yes you can carry. But 1st you have to apply for it.

1> actually if ur company or frens one... oso can as long as its trusty
2&3> dun thin so cos HDB is not urs ... y would u wan to give HDB a brand new car and cant get it back later.
4> as long as the company is running.
5> as many as u wan
6> tat one depends on individual lar... i drove a berlingo.. anyway its the same... quite good.. fuel cheap and car run fast.
7> tat one dun bother lar... most likely after the free maintance.. u will go other small car wrkshop to do ur car at a cheaper rate.
8> according to LTA and agent, no modification is allow or else void ur warrenty. but if u wan who cares... audio!!!
9> ask for huge dis/c on price ,reverse senor, wheelcover... watevver tat u wan... push
10> yesh its illegal... my uncle five a kangoo. using alloy rim use for a yr.. ganna TP . got a fine and ask to change back and inspection.
11> actualli a lot of fast running... saw a gal driving berlingo goin at 130km/h on aye Razz
12> jus got my car... back 4 pax. but i seen one old berlingo hav a 5 pax behind.. no know fake one a not .. hmmmm

What freebies u ask and how much u actually ask for discount?

O..u just got ur car? i saw from the renault forum, got ppl kangoo put 5pax kena caught and told to put 4 pax.. how they calculate.....

ya jus go lingo.. still running in... can run-in at 70km/h... anyway i doing 60-65 avg

ya they quoted mi 34.3k... i ignored the agent and say i go see other car./... .
then pressfor 1k d/c ...she call back gave mi the price to 33.3k......
after when im at the agent there.... i press for reverse sensor and wheel cover.. anyway those little things.. if the agent okie one...can give free one... tats all lor... if u can more .. better... if u realli can pshyco the agent

yesh im using my family company to register.
they will ask for ur company pprs and a few things forget liao... then can register a commercial veh.
cost sold my motorbike and top up cash to dwnpay... although 0% percent dwnpay... but interest not worth... so dwnpay alot
heng nv ganna 5% gst,....

yesh frm agent add 10 dollars more to the road tax to put 4 pax behind max... those 5 pax think fake one,....

Hi,

I am considering buying the berlingo. Went to test over the weekend. Was quoted 33.8K. But if go for COE bidding $32k if successful. So not sure which to take. Also looking at the Kangoo. Would appreciate any advise.....thanks..... Razz

Ya…thats wat the sales person told me when I tested the van. but need to bid sucessfully for coe (max 4 times). The nearest round is this wed. So far how’s your berlingo?

quite alrite.. easy to drive,,, and the yokohama aspec dB wrks!! less road noise and
relax in a way.. and powerful for a van tot.
goin to finish the 1.5k running ...
goin 2k rpm at ard 75km/h
