Mmh, being abroad allows you to look at Singapore from different angles. Some think Singapore is still good, but others like myself thinks that unless the Government starts listening and caring more for it's people, Singaporeans are screwed.

The point is not that PAP is bad, but they need to improve on some factors like addressing the citizens' concerns and not brush them away.

They need to do more than what is stated above. Do not make the press under their control, allow democracy, serve the nation with their hearts and souls rather than be so $$$ oriented, respect the old and human life.

Apparently, the reason why most people study aboard is that they are unable to get a place in the local universities. look into this reasons and most of these problems can be solved.

There is 150000 local studying n working abroad n it seemed the govt has started feeling the heat they might not come back for good. More will join

I dont quite understand what you mean when you say that Singapore government can take your money as they please.

If you are talking about income tax, I am sure most developed countries are alot higher than Singapore. If you talking about road tax, COE and ERP, I am sure Singapore transport systems are alot better than other developed countries. If you are talking about GST, I am sure most developed country charge more than 7%.

look. we do have brains drained but still ppl are coming back because their parents are here, their friends are here and their roots are here. what are the reasons some leaves.

I am sure some can help their parents to apply for PR in other countries or their parents prefer to live here.

Majority don't come back because they don't like and don't accept the way Singapore is run by the gahmen. They prefer the lifestyle over there, cost of livining is not so high as Singapore. More opportunities there for them. I believe the no of people studying overseas and not coming back for good will increase as they are know too well that FTs are valued more than our own people.

the reaons for the influx of FT is the gahmen doing. they want a 6million population but singaporean ain't giving birth. so what do they do? give scholarship to the best brain from other countries and then jobs hoping that they will stay on an become a singaporean.

however, not only they know how to count. the foreigners can count too.
