la...it does make a lil sense though...i mean, its all abt
survivability. the fact is there r too little individuals who r
willing to stand up for what they think is right. im not sayin that
the govt is wrong, but even if ppl feel that they r wrong, they wun
say it out coz we will get into trouble.
in a sense, its basic human nature. ppl feel stronger in a crowd.
in singapore where there r hardly anyone who dares to rebel, we
feel less obliged to voice our opinions. y get into trouble when
theres a high chance of failure anyways? the fact is, even if there
r ppl who dare stand against the govt, there r little who dare to
follow. in a way, it makes us a safe society as well, since u can
nvr please everyone.
