The above is so true. Definitely takes two to clap isn't it. Without us, they can't get to where they are today, but to them without them we will become maids. We see from here there is division - they and us. They and us! To me if the govt is genuinely serving the people with their hearts and souls, they will not make such a statement. govt with hearts and souls for the people will say we, we , we!!!

Without us, they can't give themselves super high pay.

Singapore is run like a company,corporation. Shareholders, board of directors, top management are the happiest people in the corporation/co when the company makes tons of money. They are the first to enjoy the fruit while claiming that their leadership is so effective and the staff are so obedient to them. Top over bottom! People at the bottom have no say! A business organisation's goal is always to earn lots of $$$$, most don't care about the wellbeing, welfare of the employees,

because you guys are very sure you get it right that PAP does not have the interest of the poor citizens when they make their policies, i think whatever i write or present (of course only my opinions and imaginations and not data straight from the heart of PAP) you will find ways to counter and some with good command of english will come in and bark at me like seow kia.

so instead, i shall focus on the bigger picture. In my OPINION, the baby boomers retirement is a big problems faced by the world's countries universally other than global warming. There will be many media reports of how bad the real situation is in the western and eastern countries. This will tell whether the PAP party has prepared well for most of our aging parents. Then we shall see.

I really cannot understand what is wrong with some of the local liked to compared how good or fortunate Spore is compared to the neighbouring

countries which is poor. I mean is it not better to compared apple with apple rather than comparing apple with orange.

MM in one of the interviews did mention that Singapore is small so easier to manage and given a big country may not be able to. I can't remember what programme is that. I was so surprised to hear this from him.

Those who wanna compare Singapore with other countries, do be fair to compare on the same level as in apple to apple, durian to durian and not compare apple to durian.

Besides the size of the country, the people in the country matter! If they were to manage Taiwan, huh, they will have lots of headaches. The people in Taiwan are so outspoken and they dare challenge the govt. IN singapore, majority are so "tame", so it's so easy to manage the people of Singapore.

The multitude of PRCs that they are attracting here in hope tha they will convert to citizens, aren't exactly tamed and mild mannered... China's people are just as outspoken - perhaps that's why they are so loud in public...

The foreigners in here more outspoken which is the reason some of the local cannot tahan but it seemed they interested in getting the PR only.

so far, have not heard of any case that anyone of them has done anything to provoke the govt. Probably they know if they do they will be sent back. On the other hand, MIW very desperate to increase population so allow so many of these people here. Wow, they are competing jobs with our locals, from hawkers to the professional. PRCs seem a favourite of the old man.

No, those who are here are basically for the SingDollars... these won't say anything, but swears under their breath that Singapore opened its legs to foreigners...

But if a substantial number of PRCs becomes citizens, these will be the ones who will raise hell in furture when they realize their mistake...

wait and see. MIW are really genuinely too much allow any kind of foreigners here to compete jobs with the locals. Locals are the ones who have to face the ssshhhitttt from the MIW, while these people if they don't like it, they just pack and go back. MIW are the ungrateful lot of people, we the citizens contribute to the country and yet they refuse to protect our rice bowls. All the lee hsien loong can say is upgrade upgrade. What does he know about what we are facing, there are people who have upgraded and yet can't find jobs. He only sit in the air con room and think of nuisance to make our lives difficult.

Unfortunately Spore sometimes mentioned things offending the neighbouring countries if u read the paper this month.

Local here also can pack up n leave if they felt not suitable to live here as u can hear last National day's rally speech, 800 local have left for other

countries. Look like all of us need to learn to take risk like HK people or
Taiwanese.
