What will you do if you are paid S$2m a year?

2 million per year .

I probably save 50% in the term deposit of the bank and earn interest off it. I am not about to declare I am a saint. I still want the comfort in life for my family and I.

The other 50% :

5% - charity for old folks who have no children. They worked hard enough for the country , I don't think it is fair for them to continue slogging til the nail is hammered into their coffins

5% - scholarship for those in the lower socioeconomic rung and those who can prove continued improvement so it will be fair competition - I don't want a straight A student. I want to fund those who are not straight As but who can show that they have been growing in maturity as evidenced by continual improvements in their marks, i.e. from B-average student in highschool to A-average student in poly/jc. A type of second chance scholarship.

40% - funding into sustainable research/ projects for the benefit of future generations in the country that I am being paid 2 million for. Meaning any money I put into those projects/research better have the potential of yielding a good amount of money. That way they can be continually improved and sustained.

From the sustainable research / projects - I will want to see my investments paying off so I can cycle the money into charities and other organisations which help individuals to sustain themselves.

If I earned it in the legitimate business, I can sleep well at night because I know for a fact that its my employers reward for the recognition of my abilities. If I am a civil servant, then I will have a struggle.

Actually for the my case hor, I don't usually count my change. It's abit time wasting for me. I'm always in a rush..

i will earn all the money this few years, during which part of the money will be spent on investments to earn even more money. then after that i ll just live my life abroad, perhaps england or australia or somewhere nice.

of cuz money isnt everything, but its power. lol, but i must admit, im not happy now at all, even tho i have my own room, mom gives me all the freedom i want, etc...
