3 PMs for S'pore

PRP SG

I suggest MM & SM be changed to 2nd PM & 3rd PM. PM Lee can decide which one of the two should be 2nd PM.

Since their salaires are very close to PM,so it is not too wrong to take them as PMs.It is due to special circumstance that a small country like us have 3 PMs.In fact, I think countries like China & India should have each have more several or many PMs.

3 PMs pay added up 9 mil, which is equalvalent to UOB Wee Chow Yeow pay.Since SM amd MM vistiting foreign countries(make friend) most of the time,i suggest we have 3 FM instead, which will be cheaper, also our existing FM can concentrate in solving Indonesia and Thailand matters! Cool

Each PM take care of 1 region.

So we should have the same number of FM taking care of each region with each PM.

Maybe can have like this:
Asia - PM (1)
US+Europe - PM (2)
All others - PM(3)

Might as well call it Council of Presidents. One Lord President and two Adjunct Presidents. Laughing

Would you prefer MM & SM become DPMs and the present DPMs become SMs?I believe it would make more sense.

It is obvious that in any enterprise when it has too many staff or when their staff are overpaid and positions redundant the enterprise will have to create new roles for the extraneous staff.

Some will become super-overpaid PRO with no accountability for bottom line while others become marketers of sort which do not really need to meet professionally prepared targets to be met.

Then there will be claims of success. Despite so many policies how many are really successful. Education may be infrastructures may be but at what costs to ordinary citizens and economic competitiveness of average businesses.

Failures like asset enhancement, growth triangle and keeping silence about the outcome of many talked about value-add economic restructuring utterances all went but unreported.

Following the 2006 Elections, there was a political seminar or forum entitled '2006 Election Post Mortem' - in which political personalities were invited to contribute their views.

One of the speakers - Assoc Prof Ho Khai Leong - had some interesting comments about the unusual Political Appointments and Political System in Singapore that has been purposefully created by the Ruling Party.

'Click' on the referenced words, and it will lead you to the recorded speech.

SM Goh is visiting China. The Chinese PM will meet him.Under normal protocol, the PM doesn’t meet a senior minister. But of course Goh was former PM,the Chinese PM might be willing to meet him.If Goh were 2nd PM,then PM of any country would meet him under the normal protocol without any need of explanation from MFA.So what the PM think of my suggestion?
