Keep Singapore out of broadband, warns Telstra,

TELSTRA has warned John Howard not to "confiscate" the national
broadband network proposal from mum-and-dad investors and hand it
to Singapore, a country that executes its citizens...
"We've been aggressive because there is a move under way to
confiscate something that is owned by 1.6million mum-and-dad
investors and give it to a Singapore company," Dr Burgess told The
Australian. "We're talking about turning over Australia's only
nationwide telecommunications network to a consortia run by the
Singapore Government. That's a government that executes
people, number one, and doesn't allow competition in its own
country. It's unbelievable.

At least two witness have been killed after testfing in
courts.
One is Aussie and another is Vietnam born Aussie.
3.Talking about competition,Dr Burgess just forgot SG is
almost
one of the first then third world country to allow MNC set up
factories
here 40 years ago to compete and help local SME!!
He seems need go back to class room to study history of SG.
When u set up a company in SG,u need compete with many from
many countries in different industries.
