Since the CPF Board sent out letters on GST Offset Package, I come across relatives and friends who found out that they are not going to get the total amount of money they are entitled to.

Base on the flyers sent out for GST offset package, they are supposed to be paid $200 or $250 but the CPF Board letters they received only state that they are going to be paid $100. Why the gahmen can do such a thing, I just wonder!!!!? If they are sincere and honest in giving such $$$ to Singaporeans cant they do it sincerely from the bottom of their hearts to give them the full sum they are entitled to!! Thus some called up the hotline and the staff confirmed that they are supposed to get more than $100. So to receive the total amount that one is entitled to one must call the hotline to inform the staff. Looks like they are not that willing to fork out $$$$ to give the people the honest total sum of $$$$ they are entitled to, then why come out with the give away GST Offset Package? Or is this just a show to ease their conscience that they are once again raising the cost of living? Their sincerity and honesty are questionable!!!

So people, check and see if you are going to be short paid!!

Perhaps it was just an error? I was only paid $250 although i am entitled to be paid $350…

you better call up the hotline. the staff will check for you if you are entitled to $350. After receiving those news people are short paid, I called up and the staff confirmed I am short paid. She will contact Income tax and will pay the remaining amount at a later date!!

Go check don't let the gahmen short pay you when you are entitled to get $350, why help them save $$$! Go go do it for yourself!!

No. Think you misinterpreted my post. I together with those people supposed to get more than the total amount stated in the letters. When I called the hotline the staff confirmed that it is true I am entitled to getting more than what the CPF letter stated.

Many people don't know that they should be getting more. Wa, can save and don't give the full entitlement the gahmen will be happy. So sickening, they are the ones who want to give this and yet so unwilling to give full amount. REally sshhiit!!!

So people, go check if you are underpaid !!!

3. Top-ups to Post Secondary Education Accounts

Every Singapore citizen child aged from 7 to 20 will receive a top-up of $100 to $400 to his Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) in 2008 and again in 2009. Those who are older and from less well-off families will get a higher top-up to their PSEA. PSEAs will be automatically created for eligible children. Unused funds in the PSEA will be transferred to the account holders CPF Ordinary Account (CPF-OA) when he turns 30.

I started this thread with the purpose of telling people to check if they are underpaid for the GST offset package and there that bloody chap come here to "damn" it. He is a very ill mannered and nasty person.
