stylomilo SG

insurance will kill... becos...

1) its a HONDA
2) its a Type R
3) its 2 door

these 3 factors will command higher premiums...

Si|verGer SG

think is ard 130k but 2nd hand will be cheaper depends on hw old..
e insurance is v high tin few thousands..
it's a 2l car depends u travel much ant and got kui vtec ant...

Si|verGer SG

quoted 3.2k under my moms name

i read it under sum forum.... e insurance 4 dc5

xiaomage SG

you still looking for a new or used one?
I have a used one...My own...as good as new.....
Insurance depends on your age,NCD,driving experience,etc...
Fuel economy around 9-10km/l

AE86tofu SG

doubt that there's a 2nd hand one...model is relatively new...insurance? expensive cos it's a coupe....des not mean that 2 door means insurance expensive mar Confused they'll see the car itself...suprisingly Mini is cheap for insurance Laughing fuel consumption? high....u want high revving engine to get the power u'll have to sacrifice in terms of fuel consumption and engine wear

xiaomage SG

lots on sale.....

xiaomage SG

Not true...DC5 fuel consumption actually quite good...around 9-10km/l...
you seemed a little baised against this car....any reasons why?
(no flaming pls)

KhidMasAE86 SG

DC5 fuel consump is quite high. serious. depends on how you drive the machine too...the faster it is...the more lor... see if u can set the car for a high end material machine...but setting it to a high end car will caused more consumption when its slow...so...up to u lor... i still prefer DC-2

AE86tofu SG

agreed....thats y i prefer the mini Wink

AE86tofu SG

cos it's not a fast car and many fellas claim that it's sooo fast and sooo great...and also this car is too "beng" seen many showoffs on the road with this car...presonally smoked a few with a MUCH inferior car...

xiaomage SG

fast car fast to pump petrol...

xiaomage SG

so what's your 'inferior car' as you call it?
Do you know which are the ones you smoked?Maybe they didn't want to play with 'inferior car' or what?
I dun think it's 'beng' as you classified it to be...Anyway,it's personal preference....It may be 'beng' to you but not to others.

xiaomage SG

To be frank with you,I'm driving this car & I dun think it's 'beng'.And I dun think there's anything to show off with this car.....Fast,I think it's acceptable lah...cos there are always faster cars.....comparision goes on & on....End of the day,it's the driver, not the car...

AE86tofu SG

no lor....mini is fast but consumes less fuel...lol heavier tan DC5 somemore

AE86tofu SG

Nissan X-trail...hows that for Inferior??? little mods here and there only....The reason i dislike it its becoz the car itself it's not fast and ppl cannot accept the fact and go round telling that it's such a GREAT car....which in fact it's not.....

xiaomage SG

Okay. You have your views & I have mine.think we better stop before things turn for the worse...Anyway,your car & my car can't compare.Different class......

Mercury_1 SG

C'mon Ppl we have been through this route before liao

I thought it was agreed that everyone has their own views and every car has it's own advantageous
