the Bear SG nah.. dad grows lots of stuff.. mom made him grow that mostly crappy plants which do not flower enough want to go steal a few plants from neighbour... one day i'll take a pic of those flowers.. very pretty

the Bear SG nah.. not much.. used to have a chiku tree in the backyard and a custard apple tree in the front yard.. but both gone custard apple tree died.. chiku tree had to be chopped up coz roots tearing up neighbour's yard (and ours too) now only got that... and a jambu plant and lots of other plants which i cannot identify
MooKu SG I'm always tempted to pluck chikus off the trees around my place. But the big ones are always high up. I loooove custard apples! But they attract loads of ants... Oooh there's a LONGAN tree in the Sun Yat Sen mansion! And my neighbors have taken a liking to growing sugar canes. I've got one neighbor who has a garden full of herbs and vegetables. Her mint leaves are beautiful...
bismarck SG i tried planting ginger, sweet potatoes, aloe vera and garlic. all died except aloe vera. the 3 died because the grass-cutter cut them stems and leaves off when he was cutting the grass despite telling him to watch out for it... aloe vera died because of poor soil or something
MooKu SG so dumb right?! they cut my flowers too! and they were in full bloom! it's those kind that look like lilies, but they're peach in color. and they killed 'em all. should grow pandan leaves... and lime. very handy to have at home
the Bear SG very sad about the chiku tree coz after 14 years, i only ate about 1 1/2 fruit from it... relatives always come and "harvest" the stuff the custard apple was a strange breed one... the "skin" was smooth instead of looking like scale... and the birds usually get to it first bis, should plant them in pots in your compound instead tried growing coriander, but the stray cats kept eating it serious! other things grown are leperous lime (or limau perut) and used to grow laksa leaves
the Bear SG lilies? as in leaves look like dark green fleshy grass? then 5 petals? i have the white and pink version growing like mad here
