Honestly do you think it is that wonderful to be a politician in
Singapore? They might have the money, but I think they are missing
out alot of things in life which normal singaporeans can enjoy
without any worries. Beside that, once you reach a certain
income level, anything beyond that will be quite
meaningless.
Honestly, and I say this seriously and not mockingly, could
anyone say that with a straight face?
Meaningless? Hmm, apparently not meaningless enough to ask for
certain rises.
That aside, could it might be tough? After all somebody really wise
said their their families would suffer if they did not get an
increase in their salaries... Hmm... suffer? How so? *scratches
head*
And not to mention let's look at the lives of our politicans here
and the lives of policians overseas, who have to fight tooth and
nail to protect their own reputations and stands.
Tough life? Only for the opposition politicans here I
think.
