He's not untouchable... some groups might be very willing to do something about him... and he might not like it.

I like the topic where he posted a picture of the two Russian tourists who got murdered in Thailand PROTESTING the against ST showing the very picture HE POSTED because he thought it was tasteless.

That was very funny... and ironic.

Frankly this dude is only a few steps away from getting himself into big trouble... he seems to have this mindset that he can say whatever he wants, paint other groups and nations in black, be defiant and rude despite people REPEATEDLY telling him his views are not welcome and not be taken to task for what he does.

Frankly if he kenna sai because of what he does in here, he only has himself to blame for it.

And I will find it somewhat ironic... because after claiming to be some crusader of "reality"... not reality really comes and bites him for real.

First world city mind set

..The "Think before you agree to drink" brochures have been produced by Toowoomba councillor FP 'Snow' Manners.

Cr Manners has organised 400,000 of the brochures and they are now being distributed around Brisbane.

Toowoomba voted "no" in a referendum on drinking recycled water last year after former Toowoomba mayor Clive Berghofer financed the "no" campaign.

The brochures come as the Queensland Water Commission gets ready to distribute a similar brochure to promote drinking recycled water....

Do you think in Singapore EVERYBODY has a favourable view of Newater? What is commendable is at least the aussies have the power to do something to advance their own point of view while we more or less have to tank each and every change, good or bad, that is made for us.

If anything what you highlighted is a GOOD point about the aussies, that indeed they have the FIRST WORLD MINDSET to have the freedom of speech and actions to determine what they want.

FIRST WORLD MINDSETS are judged on things like freedom of speech, respecting self-determination and democracy... not questioning if they have the guts to use recycled water. At which it is an issue that is their CHOICE and certainly not for you to question if they have a FIRST WORLD MINDSET on this.

For example, going by your logic, if North Korea is having the guts to use recycled water while the Aussies do not then it shows that the North Koreans have a FIRST WORLD MINDSET. I must present an alternative conclusion, and that is you are of a ONE TRACK MINDSET that seeks to turn each and every single thing you can potentially dig out into your posts, even at the extent of contradicting yourself.

Please spare us your posts, and save yourself some trouble when you find yourself suddenly in some real problems from what you did in here (of which you already are).

So yes, the answer to your question is what you just posted shows that the Aussies have a very healthy and working FIRST WORLD MINDSET, which more then I can say for us.

QANTAS has defended the use of overseas maintenance facilities, despite a Singaporean contractor (SIA Engineering) not having met its standards.

A leaked document details 14 problems with checks by Singapore Airlines Engineering, including poor workmanship and damage to an aircraft.

Oh yeah they also reported loose screws and bolts found in Qantas air craft as well while serviced by SIA engineering .

SIA did drop a nut bolt from the sky on a sydney residence .

A result of foreign talenting too much in Singapore ? A result of retrenching older experienced technicians for younger inexperienced technicians who are likely to be foreigners?

How did SIA engineering get to this stage of incompetency? SIA also dropped from rank no. 1 to 7. So what is happening to SIA after they retrenched their local workers in favor of cheap foreign talents and local inexperienced technicians ? Alot of negatives there...BS about telling older Singaporeans to upgrade .....those older Singaporeans who got retrenched probably had alot more valuable experience.

I also read the propanganda machine aka Channel News Asia . They did not mention anything about those "interesting problems " while Australian news went into some detail into those servicing problems.

I hope Qantas will never move to overseas operations because right now I don't trust SIA enough to fly SIA long haul . Qantas - I am still ok with since it is the only airline without major incidents. Worse come to worse, I will take emirates since some of the old SIA techs and pilots are employed there.

And since when did the LA people directly drink recycled water? They use it mainly for industrial and irrigation purposes, as well as to recharge their potable water sources.

The way lionnoisy pitches it is as if they have totally embraced this water source, which they are still getting around to doing.

Not that I have any issues with recycled water, as long as it's safe to drink and it's water it's water... but trying to pitch this as if it could make his "First World Mentality" point on the aussies fly is ridiculus, not to mention somewhat dishonest.

Not to mention ironic, considering he is showing quite clearly that the Aussie have due process to determine the outcomes of their policies through their own determinations and actions... something that is a mark of a "First World Mentality", regardless of the choices they actually make.

Given the choice, would we choose between a third world mindset and a first world city or a city with some issues and problems but gives its citizens more say in if they want to run the country or let it crash and burn. Would you rather be a cog in a perfect machine or a member of a team that values you as an individual, even if the team is inperfect.

It is indeed ironic that in his attempt to highlight the downsides of Australia, he's actually highlighting the upsides of it and making it more attractive to many. But could it be help considering he seems to approach this topic with a THIRD WORLD MENTALITY?

Don't be too surprised if you suddenly find your account deleted, for the way you are going now you are really following in the footsteps of many who have gone that way. But I suspect these will be least of your troubles.

And no you don't do proper homework, that bit you have made VERY clear in your posts.

A quiet mod to your actions is often a bad sign of danger, for if a police case is really on you, usually the first thing they do is to contact the mods to leave you alone so they can carry on monitoring your actions in here.

It happened the last time round with this dude who went around in here on some personal crusade to change public opinion on some sensitive topics and he caught the eye of the police. Apparently this guy thought that the inaction of the mods were a sign for him to be bolder when what was really happening was that he was just getting himself into more trouble then he already was.

Believe me, the fact the the mods are so quiet on you should be worrying to you, but somehow you think this means you are not "radical" enough?

Apparently everybody trying to tell you that your actions will land you in trouble is considered a threat by you.

All I can say is, if you really want to test system, please by all means carry on with what you are doing.

So yes, indeed if you kenna sai I doubt anybody will feel sorry for you. And this is not a threat, it's a fact.
