the petrol or fuel tax in singapore is 44 cents / litre.
so if you pump say 40 litres in malaysia, our nice government lost
at least $16 in taxes, not to mention lost profits generated in
revenue.
in contrast, malaysia's petrol companies earns a profit margin of
about 2%. (comes from government, sinced its subsidised)
