Now because Singapore leaders have for many years narrowly
managed the country only to promote the few elites or academic
talents of their own kind and because they only know how to manage
the country to benefit government surpluses which actually kills
the economic competitiveness many citizens cannot enjoy
opportunities of employments or growth and have long ago already
left the country.
This is one major set-back of our autocratic system where for years
government only know how to govern by taxing and profiteering and
recovering all costs.
So in order to avoid backfiring the leaders because of past wrongs
in their policies Minister Wong Kan Seng must say to overseas
Singaporeans in new york at tonight's opening of Singapore club
there : "We welcome our own citizens working in major cities due to
globalization as they will learn new experiences and hopefully one
day they would return to serve the country."
