"Also, you talk about Public Service, who do You want in Public
Service? A simple teacher or taxi driver to serve You and Me? Or
someone who has the foresight and acumen, and of [b]strong moral
standing to take us into the future? The Shin Corp
incident is a commercial transaction; you should not be so confused
as to link it with politics. "
I would like to remind her that once upon a time, a simple teacher
named Confucius did not get any PSC scholarships or was paid
millions, yet he influenced an entire civilisation with his moral
standing and philosophy.

Confucius had a most difficult childhood even though he was
supposed to be born into a noble family. His father died when he
was only 3 years old. His own mother was even rejected by her own
next of kin and prevented from attending her husband's funeral. Yet
credit to her own fortitude for bringing up Confucius. I call that
great motherhood. She died when Confucius was 23 yrs old.
Right now the civil service hasn't done anything except to give
handouts to FTs, then tax and control the locals to death. Is that
call bringing us to the future? They don't even want to accept
responsibility for losing our own money, but very quick to take
credit.
