T.T. Durai, the former National Kidney Foundation (NKF) chief
executive has chosen not to take the stand in his corruption
trial.
The former CEO is accused of submitting a false invoice for $20,000
to the NKF on behalf of interior designer David Tan to reward him
for his fund-raising efforts.
Durai had also asked for leave to go overseas.
And the court has approved his application to take leave of
jurisdiction from March 29 to May 27 for a holiday in Europe,
Malaysia, the Middle East, India, USA and Indonesia.
