What makes me not to donate is the gurmit force tactic. He's like making a command x2. I also wonder if their crying is from heart or fake ..

If you want to donate something, donate to the person in need directly. I never believed in such TV donation programs. Not even NKF. I proudly say I was not conned during the years of NKF charity shows..

How much cut is media corp and its employees are getting from this?

If an org is making surplus for the past few years and has asset amounting to S$33 millions and yet approaching the public 4 $,it is sound reasonable n very familiar with ex-NKF.

It is w/o doubt that they r taking care of the homeless and very poor, and please ask yrself how much is their expenses on this group of ppls as compared with the rest like provide hospice and home care,they charged S$80 per Doc care for 4 rooms HDB flat wheres the normal GPs r charging only S$50 for this service regardless of house type.

Can u remember the ex-NKF charged the patient at full cost plus huge profit of mediclne and yet claimed they had subsidied the patients .

We r not against donate $ for the true cause but dont take us for their free ride!!!

well according to an 8 days interview in the last issue, venerable shi is, and i quote, “chaffeured around in a Nissan 7-seater” so its not a bmw =p

1) You are right to point out that they have asset amounting to $33m, but you also conveniently left out that only $28m of those are General Funds. So how long would these $28m last? 2-3 years maybe. 10 years or forever? Certainly not. Given that no one can predict when the next economic downturn will occur, isnt it prudent that they have some buffer to cover their yearly ward expenditure of $10m?

2) By saying 'they charged S$80 per Doc care for 4 rooms HDB flat', i hope you are not generalizing it to the 1/2/3 rooms flats. Do you know for a fact that subsidies arent available for those needy ppl? I certainly dont claim that i do.

3) You can go on rattling and comparing about how similar Renci is to old NKF, but the fact is that they are two totally different entities.

4) Lastly, have you actually been to Renci to see how they operate or how they are going to manage their reserves? If not, how can you then claim that they are taking you on a free ride?

For ur everyones infro, that MONK is driving a BRAND NEW BMW 730IA , no loan. PAID CASH! the car sold by my fren! I actually thought of donating, when i see those auntie and uncle so ke lian! but when i see the actor tears without eyes turning red i know they all r fake! plus my fren told me he is driving BMW i tell my self fuck it man!

yes, nobody here is obliged to donate. dun put on fallcies and sweeping statements. dun like it? juz off ur TV or change it to other channels. for me, i didnt really watch it because frankly speaking, i didnt really want to donate thru calling (i only donate by sending cheque or credit card payment). yeap.

Saw the balance sheet.

They had 17 mil on hand. But their expense for last year is around 17 mil as well. Sounds fine to have 17 mil on hand.

Most of their expense is on employee salary which the numbers appears fine to me. 8.5 mil for the employees salary for 314 people. around 2k per month.

Only question is what they mean by "others" for asset. close to 8 mil jump there.

Any truth to what you claim? Get some prove and facts here if it is true.

After the the NKF issues, there were few reports and interviews about Ren Ci CEO and his pay, cars, etc..... as what was reported, his salary is not paid by Ren Ci Hospital, but from the temples which he is in charge and the amount, can't remember how much, is less than 5 figure. As for the car, not sure, but certainly, he is not only in charge of temples in SG, also some in MY, HK too...

Well, I have seen monks driving cars in SG so regularly. So not alarming to see him having one, but if really any truth about him as claimed, it won't be long that it might be out open for everyone to know. If not.. please try to come up with something creditible before making allegations.

my father was donated tons of money to NKF, but it was all TT-ed away by Durai Laughing so now he very angry, cannot blame
