The problems with Indonesia... do you think that it has anything
to do with the upcoming IR?
There is so much Indonesian money parked in Singapore banks and the
Indonesian government is worried that it will be "transferred" into
Singapore hands through the casino.
That might be why they ban the resources that goes into the
building of the IR?
Sort of an indirect venting of their anger and hinting at what they
are angry about?
There are illegal casinos in Indonesia but then they are illegal
unlike the casinos in Singapore.
Genting is in existence but is relatively remote up in the
mountains whereas not only will the Singapore casinos be much more
accessible, there are lots of Indonesians in Singapore.
Furthermore, the Muslims from Indonesia will be able to gamble in
Singapore while they cannot in Genting and the illegal casinos in
Indonesia.
