Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong left Iran yesterday reassured that
war will not break out in the next one or two years.
But he remains worried that the lack trust between Iran and United
States was fomenting misperceptions that could bubble over into a
miscalculation.
"So confidence building is very important. Iran has to win the
confidence of the international community," He told Singapore
reporters at briefing wrapping up his four days of meeting with key
Iranian leaders.
