Now face sand shortage, I won't be surprised if projects are/ have been underway to employ our advance technologies to develop man-made sand by recycling waste or somethin....... Mr. Green

Answer : They have look into alternative source of sands to fill up the gap left by Indonesia ban. On top of that, they had release their stockpile to ease the shortage.

However there is not much they cannot do with the cost of shipping the sand to spore from further than indonesia.

2.My God!Dunt u know gov already built up huge sands reserve along Bedok Reservoir(north west corner).No other gov built up sands resrerve!!

from business point of view, nothing is really wrong. other govt keeps rice reserve so that the price of rice is controlled and cannot be dictated by the unscruplous businessman. similar?

it only what our GOV keep in term of grade

if not wrong our rice selling on this island has to match certain % of quota reserve

but let say I imported 100% fragrance @ US$ 450 per metric ton

kept reserve 25% broken white rice @ US$ 150 per metric ton
