TOPLESS in the snow!!!

As mentioned in an ealier post, Skatty took Scooty out for a ride in the nearby hills today, Melbourne Cup day(a world famous horse racing carnival, not that I care), a public holiday. The weather was glorious. We hit a high of 27C with not a cloud in the sky, a perfect top down(or topless) day for Skatty to scoot around in the nearby hills with about 80km of continuos twisty curves. It was also the perfect territory for a car like Skatty.

As we went up to about 1000m above sea level with cooler temperature, we encountered snow! It was unbelievable, we're already in early summer and the snow season usually ends around early September.

We had an unusually long cold and damp spell. Warmer days are finally here now and the snow would would disappear in the next few days.

Despite the snow, my cousin and I were only wearing T-shirts. It was OK as it was sunny and calm. The snow was already rapidly turning into sludge. Should have brought along some syrup to make ice-kacang on the spot. SLURRRP..... yummy! Smile

nah..kidmccoy, mt dandy is only 630m above sea level and only gets snow a few times a year when it's below 4C in melbourne overnite. the place we went was Lake Mountain, pass Marysville about 1.5hrs away n-east of melbourne.

yeah [email protected], it was cool alright trying to get those 2 left wheels off the snow while going uphill! now i understand why park rangers insist we carry snow chain when there's heavy snow dump.
