Must be a new policy from HDB and
MBT.
Have they ever put on sale any of their properties before
completion - or even before construction even started
?
Rumours 2:
Up to 40 % of buyers of ONE of SHENTON way projects
did not exercise the options.Old report is around 10%.
Another project by fragrant harbour company also
suffer.
Rumours ? You maybe noisy but do
you know where you are heading ?
Over 30 : One Shenton
options lapse
Rumours 3:
Banks dunt like sub--sales and valuation below sub-sale
prices.
After 1997, will banks not be more
cautious, when -
An owner of a S$800,000
condo, now worth S$480,000, looking to recoup his loss, said: Its
okay if the buying goes a bit crazy; the sooner, the
better. - see referenced site :
Singapore Property : Bubble or opportunity?.
I repeat ,JUST Rumours.Dunt sue me.

Why should you think anyone will
even want to sue you when the truth of the matter is openly
discussed ?
It is a well-known fact that Singaporeans have got their CPF wiped
clean when it is the Government controling pricing of land,
building costs, and retail prices.
Why are prices of HDB units so highly priced if LAND is but only
one component amongst all the other components to complete a house
- whether single storey or multi-levels ?
With the supposed Economies of Scale in the HDB building projects,
and using modern building technologies that allow the various
pre-fab modular units for quick installations, HDB prices were
supposed to come down.
Sand, cement, granite, steel bars, and other building materials are
determined by market forces - throughout ASEAN, China, Japan and
India.
Unfortunately, if we look at the comparison
of HDB selling price from 1970s till 2000s, the prices have
gone up and the physical liveable area has shrunk.
During 1970's a 3-Room 50 Sq M HDB unit was sold for S$15,000 AND
it INCREASED by almost 10 times when the selling price for the same
unit was marked at S$110,000 throughout 2000's.
A
Malaysian 3-Room unit for the Malaysian low income group, one
will find the Singapore HDB prices to be hopelessly
atrocious.
