Politics = Money. Who holds the money, holds the realms of power
in his hands. Just look at our so called western democracies, who
funds their politics – the big corporations. Money motivates most
people – only the idealistic few will stick to their altrustic
perspective; even they will recognise that this is how the world
comes about. Sad, but true. Hence, you hold the money, you hold the
power. Your policies make money, the money holders will support
you. Dun folks like us vote with our pockets in mind? Naturally.
Then what is Democracy down to then? In it’s most cynical form, it
is to give individuals a semblance of control over their lives.
