After playing around with my standard kit lens for so long,
my hand is itching fro a wide angle zoom lens.

Calling for a review of any wide angle zoom lens.

i think he means a variable focal length lens that's at the wide end - usually referred to as a "zoom lens" as opposed to a "prime/fixed lens"

canon options: 16-35/2.8L and 17-40/4L

non canon options: tonnnes.....

the question is, how much money u got, can u tell the difference between a $500 and a $2000 lens, and how often will that difference be a concern?
