We already have Malaysians who are PRs in Singapore being called up for National Service by both countries.
If there is a war, not only with Malaysia, but with any other country, whose side should he be on?
It defeat the whole purpose of National Service.
If there is going to be dual citizenship, then let's scrap NS!!

dual citizenship has never been allowed in singapore. if you hold a singapore passport you must give up your foreign one and if u take up citizenship in another country you're no longer allowed to keep your singapore passport. Laughing

PR is a visa on your country of citizenship passport. Surrender your Singaporean passport - you immediately become stateless and an illegal immigrant .

You have to take up citizenship of the country to acquire their passport .

It is recognised for the purpose of extracting NS men though. That is to prevent those who are males above 18 and wants to escape NS from totally escaping it by acquiring another citizenship.

Dual citizenship is good . Gives you an advantage over the foreign talents.

The way I see it :Singapore is already having a wage war and a job war between locals and foreigners. Casualties already happened.

In Korea, the transport system is owned by the government not for profit. Their transport system is way more advance than Singapore's.

In Taiwan, their Electric company are also government owned and has not raised prices for 26 years. The cost of electricity is half of Singapore
