I think the answers are obvious to most Singaporeans and we're sick of repeating ourselves. Government insists they are (always) right, of course. They claim we choose to make ourselves unhappy, you see.. a claim which is only partially true.

That's why I'm wishing the PAP best of luck in cleaning up their own mess in 5-10 years' time, don't say we didn't warn you, kthxbye.

The key is to take a serious look at the rising cost which is killing everyone.

No point giving a few miserable dollars and make a lot of 'positive' noise about it on the paper. (It is insulting when the comment pple make - given hundred to pay for thousand dollars debt and being 'grateful')

Cos you will be taking back more.

Instead of geuninely 'serving' the peasants, the poodle are too busy s-ucking up to their master and giving themselves to get a pay rise.

Last year when I studied Venice hor, they say one of the fall of Venice is cause by Corruption in the government.

The Senate began to choose candidates for important government posts based on the candidates ability to pay the highest price for the post.

Well, the politician account were never revealed, we didn't know if the really practice such things.

And I thought we should have a FAIR ELECTORAL SYSTEM.

The rise of Venice is due to this system.

Election process ensured that:

(1) no individual or family dominates the government.

(2) nepotism would not develop. POWER and RESPONSIBILITIES were spread. Noble families were not allowed to have more than one member in the Ducal Council or important Nominating Committee.

66% given thier votes to PAP not because PAP are good is because people felt that they have no better choices. If these 66% are exposed to truths that are discussed here, do you think most of them still want to support PAP?

Imagine the media is not controlled by the government do you think PAP can survive? Our nation needs virtuous people not cunning people. We need someone virtuous to spearhead a party so that people will place thier vote on them instead of someone who only care of thier own gains.

Get a selfless and wise king and you will have many wise servants serving the nation.

the truth is, even if those 66 percent are exposed to truths discussed here, most of them will still PAP, i tried telling te truth to my teacher, my mother, but the reasons i get r always the oppositon r bad, the govt r doing it for our own gd, they ask me to think positvely and so on
