PointBlue SG

sd card cheaper than cf i think, i got a 2X2gb for $130, kingston branded Embarassed

i also got a 80-200/2.8, 50/1.8 and i'm still waiting for the tamron 17-20 to replenish stocks Confused

jOhO SG

yeah maybe i can use cheaper brands for the throw around cam...

for my CF cannot lor.. i min use lexar 80x or extreme III... cannot afford the failure.

i ALMOST went to canon becos the 1d series has two slots, cf and sd, so each image gets saved twice, major kiasu factor. but ... neh. Laughing

tamron 17-20?

PointBlue SG

i'm still thinking if i should go through college or just jump straight in and go under internship.

the day job has sucked up so much of my life i think i can't afford to go through college, i'll be like... 32-34 when i graduate!!!

6 more months to release i'll be sending out emails Mr. Green

its another 2 more yrs to that 6 months.

PointBlue SG

how does one undergo photography training? what's the education path like?

kopiosatu SG

pay the school, pay for accomodation, pay for food.
after you finish, u leave with a degree.

then u can upgrade to a cert
then u can upgrade somemore.

by that time i'll be 50.

currently they are offering two types of photography, portrait and advertising.
i'm interested in advertising.

PointBlue SG

advertising photography = still life and portrait?

Parka SG

The question is, to moo or not to moo...

kopiosatu SG

advertising = creative photography
