You know, we have a whole lot to say about our country – gd and
bad. However, when one ventures overseas, all that just goes out of
the window. You just want to be home – where all your loved ones
are, where your favorite Hokkien Mee stall is; or a late night
supper at Newton; having fun with friends by the Singapore River;
getting crowded out in orchird. Those are the things I miss.
Superficial some might say, but it is what your heart yearn for.
When you think of this – all the politics just do not figure in the
equation. I agree, home is where it is still best, though overseas
living aint that bad afterall, just that you get a few weirdos here
and there, not like we are any short of them.
