And while all this is happening, the ministers decide that it’s a wonderful time for a pay raise and decides that the president (who has so far wisely avoided the late Mr Ong Teng Cheong’s footsteps) should also get a nice raise to boot…

spinsugar SG

Yah lo. He kena "psycho" by the propaganda liao la..

Shocked I suppose he didn't realise that this "small" 2% is actually a 40% increase from 5% to 7%.. how much Gahmen earn from GST a year ah? Mr. Green

eyebuzz SG

At least she's living a lifestyle of choice instead of a choice of lifestyle. Cool

vito_corleone SG

so lucid and convincing, just like oscar wilde's heterosexuality... Laughing

Actually I do have a debt on that apartment - about $85k owed to the bank to go and I am done. Doesn't really matter to me because I have income protection and life insurance -courtesy of my organisation , mortgage protection and total disability insurance. Just one of them needs to be claimed in an event of a mishap and I pay off my debt totally .

And even if the bank liquidates , I have 70% paid off. So I gain 40% back or more since the value did appreciate somewhat. My property is basically financially backed against itself. My sister is paying my bank the cheapest rent she will ever get for a nice 2 bedroom apartment in Carlton now.

spinsugar SG

Well, there ya go. Very Happy

No, I am a simple person true to myself, especially when it comes to what I choose to do, where I choose to live and bring up my children. No need to be a actor or write something I don't believe. To simple man please write something simple.

When I grow up to be an adult and have money, I will think of going overseas

What you have said is very true. Even when i do not have a strong view in womens' rights, I couldn't stand them. And If you are spotted with dark/ black hair, you are automatically assumed as a prostitute. And for the guys, they are being assumed from China and trying to sell illegal dvds. Laughing

Women in Saudi are not allowed to drive and all womens have to be covered up even if you are not muslim. Rolling Eyes

sgdiehard SG

You may have seen LKY, but you haven't seen me. You may think you know LKY, but you definitely do not know me. so which part of LKY is bigger than me? Do not assume facts.

fymk SG

Fact no.1 : he is financially bigger than you or I

Fact no. 2: unless you are not singaporean, his political power is bigger than yours. he is the founding father of modern Singapore as people term it. But ur are singaporean , that makes him bigger than you or even me .

Assumption no. 1 : his estates are probably bigger than yours.

Well .....that part of LKY is definitely factually bigger than you and let's give you the benefit of the doubt with assumption 1 Smile .

EASY CINCHER! - TOO EASY! ....
