Look at thier sky high pay, even US president is not thier match. What kind of big deeds have they done to receive such a huge amount? Don’t the excuse given by LKY sound very absurb? Those who shamelessly accept the pay are not worthy to represent Singapore or fit to be in the paliament. Those who seek power are not worthy of that power.

Well the difference is what you earn in the pivate sector, you earn it yourself. what you earn in the civil service is PAID BY THE PEOPLE.
