SG has been always accused of wasting energy.But they
overlooked
SG is the no.1 bunkering sales port(ship fuel) and much of
oil import is for refined to other oil products and for
export!!
80% of local electricity is generated by natural gas
which
produce less polluated particles.
2.According to links above,the oil consumptions of similiar
developed
countries are:

Australia.....40,000
Taiwan........43,000
HongKong....40,000
Assume Singapore is 45,000 bpd/million populations,
SG consume 200,000 barrels per day.

3.SG need to hit back common wisdom that

her soil,it dunt mean SG waste energy.
